I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, an IBCLC. I help families with any of their concerns about breastfeeding and providing breast milk to their baby.
At a lactation consult, we’ll have time to answer your questions, review your experience and understand ways to improve it. We’ll weigh the baby before and after a feeding. That will show you how much milk your baby got at that feeding. At the end of the visit, I'll give you a simple plan in writing. You can easily schedule a follow up appointment.
You may bring a support person with you to the visit.
Any time you have concerns, call us. The first two weeks are most important for building a robust milk supply so if it's difficult then, let's meet sooner than later.
The IBCLC credential is the only internationally recognized accreditation for lactation consultants. Of the 14 other certifications for lactation education, the IBCLC is the most rigorous.
Learn more about your body, learn more about your baby. Feeding can be a comfortable and pleasant part of your family's life.
